Choosing and Purchasing "Your" Domain Name

The domain name that you choose for your business is crucial to your sites' success if you're going to be doing business online.

It's important to find a domain that gives the web surfer/public a hint of what they will find at your site.  It's also important to consider using a short and memorable domain but not crucial.

Keep in mind, that when you register/purchase a domain name, you are essentially "reserving" the name for your own usage for a set period of time.

You can easily purchase/register your domain at any time while deciding on a hosting company and site designs.  Your site does not have to be built or hosted and your design and layout ideas do not have to be made either.  You can simply set it aside for later use once you're ready to design and host it.  This is known as "parking" a domain.
